We made this as a project at our NC SU Demo group quarterly meeting. Designed by Becky Campbell. Big Shot was used and the bird with leaves and flower die. Also the scallop circle die was used.
Scallop Bird Basket instructions:
2 Β Old Olive 4 Β½Β Circle, Scallop
1 Β Birds w/Leaves and Flower Die
Bird Β Chocolate Chip
Leaf Sprig Β Always Artichoke
Flower Β Baja Breeze
Swirl Β Baja Breeze
1 Β Chocolate chip one flower from Trio Flower Punch
1 Β ΒΎΒ x 11Β piece of Chocolate Chip
1 Β Old Olive 4Β x 6Β
3 Β gold brads
1/16Β circle punch
1. Cut scallops using Scallop Die
2. Cut our pieces from Birds w/Leaves and Flower Die by laying pieces of scrap CS over images, sandwiching and running thru the Big Shot
3. Using the piece of 4 x 6 old olive
Score the 6Β side at 2 Β½ and 3 Β½
Score the 4Β side at ΒΎΒ on each side
Snip the 2 Β½ and 3 Β½ scores to the ΒΎΒ line on both sides
Fold up edges for form box and adhere
4. Using 1/16Β circle punch Β punch holes on each side of the top of the box to attach handle
5. Using 1/16Β circle punch Β punch holes in each end of the ΒΎΒ x 11 piece of choc chip Β put brad thru and attach to side of box on each side Β set aside
6. Using two way glue pen, attach bird, flower etc to front of one scallop
7. Attach scallop to box front
NOTE:::o not put the box all the way at the bottom of the scallop so that you can see the box. Raise the box up and ΒcenterΒ it above six scallops so that when you attach the front the same way you will rest the scallops on the table and not be able to see the box.
