This is my submission for today's Technique challenge - to use a technique called Penciled Twinks - and to use pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I don't have any Twinkling H2Os, but still wanted to play along, so I morphed Lynn's technique a little to use what supplies I did have. I stamped Stipple Rose onto Naturals White CS with TH Walnut Stain DI and colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. Using a damp paintbrush, I applied Perfect Pearls over the colored areas to add shimmer and further blend the colors. I used both Green Patina and Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls for the leaves and stems and Perfect Pearl over the pink rose. I cut out the rose and popped it up over a panel that had been stamped lightly with French Script.
I used Julee's Mojo Sketch for the layout. http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2...y-week-57.html
The image and sentiment panels were both popped up on foam squares. I added a pink satin ribbon with a Thyme brad. The rest is just layering with CS and Basic Grey DP from the Sugared collection.
This card will be donated to this month's Cards for a Cause (CFC02) which in October is for Chemo Angels.
Thanks, Lynn, for another great technique challenge!
TFL!

I'm so pleased you modified the technique so you could participate in the challenge because this is a wonderful card. The satin ribbon looks stunning as your embellishment!
