Congrats to Emily! I've never visited her gallery before, but I definitely had a lot to choose from. I didn't have to go far before I saw her Bright & Blue. I changed the colors, the images, and made it into a Christmas card. I kept the layout and the window idea.
Emily used a long rectangle set to make her window and scallop insert. Since I don't have this set, I used my standard rectangles and did the Nesite Resize technique. (Tutorial is here ).
After I cut the window opening, I used the dots folder on the green. I used a red marker to lightly edge the inside of the scallop insert.
The poinsettias (CMC) and holly (Magenta) were stamped and water colored w/ markers, then cut out. The greeting (MSE) was stamped on white vellum w/ the cardinal ink. Then I took a green marker and made the little dots on the vellum and attached it behind the opening.
I did the dots around the outside w/ a white gel pen, added the ribbon and attached everything to a white card. The poinsettias and holly are attached w/ foam tape. TFL

Julie this is really pretty. I love your coloring. The cb'd background is a perfect addition. I like the way you ladded the flowers around the sentiment. Looks terrific.
