I made this card for Beate's sketch challenge - Blogs at Splitcoaststampers . I really liked this sketch. I did turn it upside down, but I tried to keep the proportions.
I needed a thank-you card for Stamp Muse for some lovely papers she sent me, and I'd said I'd try to do something with Fantasy Film. Unfortunately I was almost out of the blue one, and although an order was sent two weeks ago, it still hasn't arrived. However, no matter what the picture looks like I did actually use 3 layers of a blue one and only one layer of a green-ish one. Maybe I can get a better picture in daylight tomorrow.
I used my Aspects of Design Dragonfly Dreams set and stamped the dragonfly twice on Fantasy Film, using StazOn Stone Grey. I cut these out and layered them together, and bent the wings of the upper one up slightly. The base is white card, next layer is navy card. Onto that I added two panels of Sizzix Little Sizzles. The green panel is Core'dinations stamped with gold and embossed with Gold Sparkle EP. It's layered up onto some more navy card. I cut the sentiment circles with a compass cutter, and stamped with a clear Woodware sentiment which I curved slightly to fit. I added a fabric brad in the centre and that was it.

Sabrina, you are a rock star!
I saw the tiny image of your card as a recent post near another one I was looking at in the FS89 challenge. I spotted the fantasy film (even in that tiny image!) and immediately had to check it out to see if it was one of your cards. And it was!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!! As all of your work is.
You are the sweetest! And by the way, not sure where you order ff, but I found it at California Paper Goods after you told me about it. If you don't already know about them, I'm pretty sure they ship worldwide and (as another SCS person mentioned after I referred her for Asian coins on the very same site) that place is a gold mine! LOL. They shipped my order the next day. And, thanks to you, I actually got to play with fantasy film. It's awesome. Bought the fantasy fibers, too, but not quite sure how to go about using them.
Thank you so much for making such a treasure of a card! I LOVE it!
