This is a card I made on the Dirty Dozen Gallery challenge For A Song. You make a card based on a song. My song is Tie A Yellow Riboon Round The Old Oak Tree, and I thought it might be a good card for my friend to send her nephew in Afghanistan.
The image is stamped on watercolor paper, colored with colored pencils and gamsol. I cut slits on either side of the tree trunk to tie the ribbon.

what a beautfiul card! Love the song you based it on, the coloring is great, the scoring around the sentiment is a fabulous detail and the yellow ribbon is perfect!
