For Inspiration Challenge, to be inspired by a Mizue Hirano watercolor...I chose a CD case featured here (second one from the top: http://www.mizue.info/work_frame.html
The circle pattern reminded me of a primitive sun, so I used my Saltbox Studio house, and Welcome sentiment (since I didn't have a Liberty one!)...
I made the sun by punching out circles, and using the negative image as a mask. As I did each one with pigment ink I embossed it. Then paper pierced around each and stitched...also paper piercing off to the edge. I added the 3 silver brads at the top to mirror her 3 grey circles. I made the background with my linen bg stamp, circles from Fun with Shapes set from SU. Thanks for the fun challenge Stef...you got me to use my pastel colors which is not my usual go-to palette!

Perfectly wonderful, Avon lady! Yeah, you're right: this isnt your normal palette is it? What a great take on this artistic challenge. Glad to see you back in the challenges. Hey, how are the girls? Is St Agnes still standing with the 2 little schirmcats inside those hallowed walls? Has Schirmdog had to go there and set the record straight?

It is delightful to the eye to admire this sun you created, don't quite understand how you did it, but maybe I'm getting tired. Will fave this and read it tomorrow early. Love your take on the challenge, it's awesome.
