I couldn't find the link for today's technique spotlight, so I hope I am putting this card in the right spot. It covers two challenges in addition to the scallop edge medallion--the Cards for a Cause and the Chocolate Tangerine Kiss color challenge. Ever since I read about the Chemo Angels yesterday, I just had to make a card for the cause.
Most of this card is self-explanatory. The leaf was stamped in Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves and then blended with a blender pen. The brown edge around the oval sentiment was made with a Prismacolor pencil and blended with mineral cuticle oil. The punch on the medallion is Fiskars (can't remember what it is called--Sunburst perhaps??). To use this punch, you need to cut the square 3 inches rather than 2 3/4.
I have been wanting to use Tangerine and here's my chance. Love that color.

Lovely, lovely card -- thanks so much for sharing. Not only has it given beauty to my day, but your hint for the medallion square size saved me lots of work. And...why have I never thought of using a blender pen with the Adirondak pads? I really enjoy your style and surely appreciate your stamping "smarts". Thanks again.

You did a perfect job of creating a gorgeous card for yesterday's color challenge and today's technique spotlight. Wow, it didn't dawn on me I could use other border punches (duh)! Thank you girl for inspiring me, cause I have lots of border punches. I just hope mine turn out half as pretty as yours! Great job! TFS P.S. By the way, I'm fav this one!
