Well, better late than never...I was able to participate in three of the World Cardmaking Day challenges. I finished them all on Saturday, but haven't been able to upload them until now.
Here is my card for the Featured Stamper challenge featuring Sherry/sherrylc05. Sherry's original card is here: Flirting with Pacific Point by SherryLC05 at Splitcoaststampers. I actually had to change 3 things, the stamp set, the embossing folder and the orientation of the card. I thought the flowers from Upsy Daisy were similar in scale to the ones Sherry used. That set doesn't have a bird image, and I didn't have the embossing folder Sherry used, but I did have a folder with a bird image on it. However, to keep the bird from looking like it was standing on it's head, I had to flip the card to a portrait layout. I also don't have nestabilities, so I created the scallop layer with my scallop edge punch. Thanks to Jimmi for choosing a wonderful stamper to feature, and to Sherry for having some great cards to CASE! TFL!
