I was lucky again to be able to attend a workshop with Kris (parkerquilter). I made one of the cards she posted several months ago. She is such a great teacher and I had lots of fun making this card. Paper pieced the old halloween dp from SU on pot and pumkin pie for the handle. I love the steam treatment. Learned that if you shade with a lighter color it appears to be raised off the paper. It is way cool to see.
Thank you for looking and comments needed.

I see Nutmeg got here first. bummer. Anyway, am I ever in awe over here. Look at this ... yikes, are you ever talented.
I'm not kidding ... look at all those great ribbons and piercing. You dont see that on any of my cards because I have no clues as to how to do either of those 2 things. Great colors together and your image was colored to absolute perfection.
it rocks, girl, just like you!

Hi Sputnik, well, here's a brew I'm not sure I want to try LOL but your card is fabulous! Wonderful paper piecing of the kettle, layout, colours and ribbon treatment. Then we come to your gorgeous painting of the steam and it looks like you've been getting some great tips from Kris, your steam really does pop off the paper, wonderful work! Hugs, Chris
