I used Always, Happiness Always, and Pocket Silhouettes to make a collage-type card for this week's blogger's challenge #67, to make a fall-type love/anniversary card.
A few details of what I did (the less-obvious stuff): On the kiwi kiss cardstock, I just had a little fun with Pocket Silhouettes and Happiness Always, using the rock-n-roll technique quite a bit, layering the images until I got what I wanted.
The heart was stamped twice - once on vellum cardstock, and once on very vanilla. I daubered the back of the vellum with kiwi, then I teared around the edges. I cut the vanilla heart out at the solid line underneath.
For the stickpin, I bunched up the taffeta ribbon (if you grab ONE thread from the middle of the ribbon, at the end, you can pull and bunch it upÂ…they showed us that at convention!). I just tied it at a knot at both ends to keep it from coming undone and then weaved it through the pin.
The butterfly was also stamped on vanilla and vellum, cut out, and put together with a brad from the pretties kit. Layered on dimensionals. I sponged the edges of the kiwi kiss cardstock with kiwi kiss ink then riding hood red ink (with the daubers).
I have a picture of the inside and larger pictures over on my blog if you want to see more...
