On my Pretty In Pink card base I embossed the fold side with a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Frills set. The Basic Grey Sugared dp is matted with Georgia Pacific white. The rose by Anna Griffin was stamped On GP white with ColorBox Olive pigment ink and colored with Faber-Castell watercolor pencils and an aquabrush. It is layered on Always Artichoke cardstock. I used the negative from a Marvy oval scalloped punch to sponge around the rose in Martha Stewart Pink Dahlia ink. The quote "The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivous to the rose." was computer generated. I sprayed the card with silver glitter spray but it doesn't show well in the photo as does the delicate coloring on the rose. The PIP may be too overpowering, but I love that color pink.

Gorgeous card! Love the CB embossed fold and the beautiful DP! Your rose is so pretty and you've colored it wonderfully - it matches the DP perfectly! Wonderful sentiment!
