I made this card for my cousin's daughter's 1st birthday. This is my first time using Crazy for Cupcakes and oh my goodness... it was so much fun!
I pieced the cupcake bottom and candle with the Sweet Always dp (love that paper!). I also used Liquid Applique for the first time for the icing with pink microbeads for the "sprinkles". Can you believe I've had the applique for 2 years and never used it? I don't know what I was afraid of... it was easy to use and I just love the effect.
Thanks for looking and comment are always appreciated!

What a beautiful card--I just happen to love cupcakes stamps, and your use of the liquid applique is very effective. Where can you buy that product? As well, I am not familiar with stickles--what is it, and where can one buy it? I will be looking at all of your card downloads, for you are obviously a very talented artist--bravo!

What a delightful card! The soft pink is wonderful and the SU dsp is just perfect. The icing looks wonderful, especially with the microbeads. Going into my faves right now. TFS this adorable creation.

You did a GREAT job!! I love the fluffy look from the liquid applique, and the micro beads look so much like sprinkles I thought maybe you used the real thing!! Your DPs are perfect and I LOVE your layout with the vertical ribbon with the bow on top, and the scalloped edges along the sides of the cupcake piece are so fun! Mind if I CASE you on this one?? :-)

I wondered how you made those pink sprinkles--great idea! This is such a charming card. Love the paper-piecing and the fun designer papers, the gems, the CB background. So cute!
