This is my new technique. I came up with it yesterday. I call it "faux brayered sky".
No brayers were used to create this card!
I used soft sky, stamped the pad directly to the paper several times. Then I went over it with bashful blue, again stamping the pad directly to the paper.
Then I took my sponge, dabbed it into the sky and dragged it across my paper. I repeated several times, then did the same with the bashful blue.
Then up top, I stamped bodering blue directly to the paper, I went immediately over it with a sponge. I decided it was a little darker than what I wanted, so I grabbed my brocade blue. I just dipped my sponge into that color and dragged it across the top of the paper and along the bottom.
I still thought the image needed some brightening, then I took pacific point. Using my sponge, I dragged it across most of the top of the paper and along the bottom.
There ya have it, "faux, brayered sky"!
My images are stamped in night of navy and added dazzling diamonds and cut them out and popped them up.
