One of my constant challenges is boys cards - although this card can be used for either, I thought it would be suitable for a boy. The frog is watercoloured with Sugar Loaf pens and an Aqua Brush, I then inked around him with red and layered him on chipboard, to raise him just a little but not as much as with dimensials. I scalloped the ede of a panel of green cardstock which was embossed with the Distressed Lines CB embossing folder and put red single stitched ribbon through the centre, adding the frog image over that. The DP is from a scrapbooking magazine (don't know which one - it was handed down to me) but seemed to fit perfectly with this little frog. The ant in the magnifying glass is highlighted with Dimensional Magic and layered in a red circle, then onto a scalloped circle (trying to keep in the theme of lilypads - with a good imagination). The Happy Birthday across the top left hand being stamped from a set that seem to have no name on them....the curling in the letters seemed to be similar to that of a frogs tongue....this was layered on red card. It was a fun little card to make! Thanks for looking!
