This is my submission for today's Sketch Challenge. What a great sketch for using lots of patterns and most importantly, for using up scraps! It is also for Beate's Be Inspired Challenge:(Blogs at Splitcoaststampers) where we were to be inspired by the picture of the beautiful room seen in the link.
I was inspired by the colors in the room, primarily chocolate, kiwi and white with a just a touch of coral in the potted plant. I also picked up on the stripes in the couch in one of my panels. For the main image, I used markers directly on my stamps then misted them lightly before stamping. I thumped the butterfly with the Chocolate Chip marker before misting it. Added some piercing, popped it up on foam squares and that was it.
Thanks, Roxie, for the great sketch and Beate, for another great inspiration challenge.
TFL!
