I made this for Frenchy's new challenge - see here: http://frenchysstampinblog.blogspot....challenge.html
There were several ways I would have liked to go from this - I really liked the striped pink towel, and I was thinking acetate and grid technique too, with the window.
But this is what I ended up with: I used the owl from Just Celebrate, stamped, coloured with H2Os and cut out. I layered him onto a piece of birch bark, and his branch is also birch, the darker bark from underneath the silver. That is mounted onto some white Bazzill Bling. I sponged the edges with turquoise, and then I scored a few millimetres in and just folded it back slightly. Because it's stuck on with quite thick foam tape, it stays folded back a bit. The green spotty layer took me forever to find - it's the last piece I have of that K&Co paper. The base is pale blue Bazzill Bling. Add some Dew Drops and that's it. I'll add a sentiment under the owl when I know what it will be used for.
