The butterfly is stamped and then chalked to accentuate the flourishes and swirls that surround the wings and blue gems just seemed to be the next step to add that something extra that was needed. For the scalloped border I used textured paper and a corner rounder, the corners are from some lovely old wallpaper that I had kept for years, knowing that I would use it one day and the sentiment is typed onto creme cardstock which is layered onto navy card. The card is then inked and distressed with blue ink

how wonderful you got to use bits of your treasured wallpaper! I have things in my stash that I too kn ow willbe very useful one day! Beautiful study in blue and that sentiment is also lovely! Keep these cards coming!

Well, you got me at hello! This is blue and it has a butterfly, for me that is all I need to say fabulous work Linda. Okay blue is my favorite color and it's everywhere here and the flourish, goodness how serene looking is this card. The sentiment, well I just think it's one to remember when things are not so right, and great when things are fine too. Love your card Linda.
