Dawnmercedes' challenge today was a combination of the Limited Supplies challenge and the Technique Lovers challenge -- the limited part was to use only paper, ink and stamps. Actually, my technique just uses paper -- a quilt card. You just cut narrow slices of paper and glue them together. I combined this challenge with Sharon Johnson's (notimetostamp) Friday challenge to make a card in the style of Tammy Herschberger -- warm, cozy, and cuddly. What's more warm and cozy than a quilt! I used pieces of DP that I had in my scrap box for the strips; and, after I had the 'quilt' made, I added a button and some ribbon. I didn't think there was room for a sentiment -- that can go on the inside when I'm ready to use it.

What a beautiful quilt card! The colors and patterns of your quilt are lovely! The CB background adds so much texture! Wonderful card for both challenges!

Lois, I love the colors in your quilt pattern and I love to do this quilt technique. Wonderful work. The gingham ribbon and red buttons are perfect accents.
