I made this for LSC185, TLC meets LSC. We were to use just paper, ink and stamps on our card. I chose to use paper tole, after considering origami. I find the PB stamps are great for this technique, although it was a challenge not to use any hardware on this card. This image in particular with its library / men's club feel always seems to me to call for hardware.
I stamped the image 3 times and coloured it with watercolour pencils before layering it up. I sponged the edges with dark brown ColorBox pigment ink and layered it up onto some Core'dinations card. The base card was covered with some K&Co paper. For the sentiment I stamped it onto the same brown as the cats were matted onto, and then layered that on some dark green card to match the paper. I added little fake brads with the brown card and wine from a scrap of the paper.
p.s. I took the picture at a slightly odd angle to show off the layers - looked at front-on they are all layered up evenly.
