Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Embossed Shimmer.
Speedy the Cat has MANY fans! He receives AT LEAST 3 cards/gifts in the mail every week! Last week, it was a record number, 14!!! WOW! The mail carrier knocked on my door and asked, "Is Speedy the Cat the name of your business?" I laughed and introduced him to Speedy the Cat. The mail carrier looked at me VERY strangely and handed me a VERY large box addressed to Speedy the Cat, and left, shaking his head...
I keep wondering how the conversation went back at the post office...
"Hey, Sam, so what kinda business is Speedy the Cat? Is it a delivery service? A mobile Vet? What?"
The mail carrier shakes his head and says, "It's the NAME of a cat!" and he walks away still shaking his head.
"Hey," calls the first guy, "Why is a cat getting mail and packages???"
"How should I know? I just deliver it!" replies the still confused mail carrier! LOL!
So, this card is going to Speedy the Cat's self appointed Fan Club President! LOL!
I painted a piece of acetate with Lumiere paint that had been dipped randomly into Riding Hood Red and Apricot Appeal reinker to create the background. I waited 2 hours for it to dry and ran it through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder.
The images were stamped three times, colored, cut and layered. Dots were made with Inkssentials pen and sponged over with Apricot Appeal ink! This toned down the color!

I'll bet the mailman is more curious than ever as to what exactly is in those boxes getting delivered to Speedy the Cat! Beautiful job on the challenge!

Wow, Faith! Another beautiful creation! I'm still trying to figure out what Lumiere paint is and what I can substitute instead ... but alas, must go to work. PS - Speedy is one famous kitty!
