It's painful to break into my stash of special papers but alas, that's what I bought them for, "the" special occasion. This is the perfect paper for this card! So, as the song says, 'the first cut is the deepest'.
Here's the story, I used to teach at a school named Crofton Woods 17 years ago with a wonderful person that I shared a room with. Now, this year, I'm back as the Assistant Principal at "The Woods" after all these years and my "partner" from then is still teaching there. So, this paper just had to be used because it's sort of retro and it has images of "the woods". The Spring Solitude set seemed to fit in nicely too. See, we hoard these things for a reason! Just call me if you need any more enabling!
The DP is by KI memories and has a golden shimmer to it. I don't have the new scalloped punch yet so I had to use my trusty scalloped scissors. The dots at the bottom are done by gluing on dots from a hole punch (I needed something to bring out the colors of the DP).

I love the paper too! I would have done the same thing with it. I agree with Kathy, the Chocolate Chip ribbon just ties everything together nicely. Lovely job, Jenn
