If there's one thing I struggle with in my card making, it is the sketches. I am thankful for the resources here on SCS and especially the Wednesday challenges! I enjoyed scratching my brain and creating this card.
My idea for making a gift came together quickly once I remembered this delightful package paper from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding. I cut unknown polka dot paper for the big gift and wrapped it with wire edged ribbon. The sentiment, from Cloud 9 Design was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and embossed in clear. I stamped this on Neenah white cs and used the nesties to scallop the edge. It is mounted on a rectangle (again nestabilites) of Basic Grey's Sultry patina and dry embossed on the edges. The card base is SU soft sky which has a bow (TooMuchFun Rubberstamps) stamped randomly across the top with soft sky ink.

This card doesnt support your sentiments about finding the sketch challenges difficult. To the contrary, my friend. This is fabulous, Susan. Love those papers, girl!

Oh, Susan! I love how you made your card a gift! How very creative! We do love the same papers (I almost selected this one today, believe it or not, then I ended up going in a different direction)! The rick rack and gorgeous ribbon are just perfect! And what a wonderful sentiment - so true!
