A card using my background design stamp for Spiral Whisper and two cute Magnolia designs. I stamped the background scene twice, the whole of it once and then the lower half and water coloured with Ranger distress inks. The lower half is cut out and layered over the complete scene with 1mm dimension tape. The image was then matted on white card over a white card blank that I sponged with distress ink in all the colours used in the scene plus black around the edges. The two lovely Magnolia images were also water coloured with the distress inks and I added stickles on their wings, cut them out and placed over the card blank on 3mm dimension tape. TFL.

Oh Chris, this is just so spectacular. It reminds me of following the yellow brick road for some reason. Fabulous coloring and I'm really loving those matching Magnolia images. Just one spectacularly created work of art. I got your email. My thoughts are with you, sweet friend. It's not an easy time right now, so I'm glad you're finding some peace in creating.

Chris, this is so bright and cheery and fun looking! Your bg stamp works perfect with this scene. I just love it! Those striped tents makes me want to go to the fair! Love the magnolia images you used. So, coloring with distress inks is done how? Is it the same as using re-inkers? You do such a marvelous job coloring with them. I am so glad you had a little time for yourself. You really needed it at this time. Love your card! Take care my friend! TFS :0)
