The challenge today was to use faux dry embossing. I have never done this technique before. I think it's okay - I should have used lighter card stock and maybe I would like it better. I will try it again!
I stamped & embossed the image twice - once on white cardstock and once on designer paper. I cut out the image and popped it up. I colored the kitty with re-inkers and brayerd over the cardstock with saffron and then sponged it with marigold. I cut the edge with scalloped scissors and layered it.

Aw... what and absolutely adorable image. love that little kitty cat peaking out of the bag. Great job with the bg. wonderful colouring on the image and paper pieced bag. tfs

Oh Cerinda... I love this! What an adorable halloween image! I don't do halloween cards, but this makes me wonder if I might just do a cute kitty card! LOL! I love cats! I love the faux dry embossing on the dark color... looks great! I didn't have time today but I do have to try this!
