I'm starting late with the VSN challenges - here's my first one where we are supposed to create a card based on a favorite childhood book. When I was a young school girl, my teacher would read a little bit from a book called "A Wrinkle in Time" each day. We would sit in a circle and use our imaginations as the story unfolded, and it was this book that truly spurred my love for reading.
Thanks for a great challenge and for bringing back the memories!

I just love what you've done! Beautiful card - all the elements are put together so nicely and you created a wonderful collage...your story is sweet too. Keep reading! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Great collage and a great compliment to your teacher. The book my third grade teacher read to us every day was the Wizard of Oz and all the other sequels.

OOH I loved that book and saying "tesseract" I had my favorite student teacher in second grade who read "Charlotte's Web" each day after lunch. Wonder what happened to Miss Kericoff? She is probably retired now! LOL
Madeleine L'Engle died in the last year or so. She was ninety something, which means she must have been fifty ish when she wrote Wrinkle in TIme. (Ha! Bet you didn't think you would get a story, did you?)
