Challenge was to use a set that hasn't seen ink in months - use stuff you're either hoarding or haven't used in ages.
This stamp and sentiment are from the Hope and Hope Is sets. Quite honestly, don't think I've ever inked up the ribbon image. Just feel kind of weird - haven't known anyone close to me that I'd use it for, and now that I am using it - well hate to bring on bad luck, I guess.
Anyway - one down ... the sentiment I've used, but it's been literally couple of years.
This ribbon I bought aeons ago. At first, it looks like regular striped grosgrain ribbon, but it's the softest cotton - I only have (had) 2 yards of it, so was holding on to it til something special came along. I was even tempted to piece the ribbon to save myself the 3 inches around the back of the card (dork, I know, lol).
Layered image and sentiment in black after sponging the edges, then popped them up on dimensionals. Card base is Regal Rose, black mat, then pretty in pink that I stamped with versamark in the small rose pattern of one of the itty bitty sets.
Inside has a white sheet sponged around the edges in pink.
Should have this type of challenge more often - get me to use some of my oldies that I can't bear to put up on eBay.
Thanks for looking
