I've gone all out colouring with copic markers again for my daughters 5th Birthday. I tried to go back to some other markers the other day...and ran straight back to my copic markers. They took me a long time to get some kind of result that I am happy with. But it was worth it. Wish I could have air brushed the sky, but it's all packed away still =(
I hand illustrated the tree and branch to add onto the stump the monkey was hanging from. Masking and section inking for the flowers and balloons.
With copics I usually blend from light up towards the darker shades around the edges and then back in again picking up colour with the lighter marker.
I cannot go past my black copic multiliner set. I have a range in thickness. They are a must have to accompany the alcohol markers as they don't bleed and run with used in conjuction with the markers for blending. My favourite is 0.3.
