This is my second summission for CC179. While I would never have thought to put these colors together, I do like the way they work together. I have been trying to force myself to come up with quicker easier cards so today's entries have both been quick and easy.
For this one I stamped the image in Black Archival and watercolored with ink in the lids and blender pens. I used the Fiskar's Treading Water Edge Punch, made an olive panel for the verticle strip but then decided I liked the dots of the ribbon, hence the panel that you can see just a bit under the ribbon. I used the long rectangle Nesties for the eggplant layer and used a white signo gel pen to dot it Marky's Mom style. I fought the urge to give the white some texture and decided to "embrace" the white and I like it! (Pat on the back)
As always, thanks so much for looking and I love reading your thoughts!

Grace, this is so beautiful. I love your layout. I like all the dots. The ribbon, the punched dots and the gel pen dots. I like the purple leaves. The leaves on my pear tree are a little darker purple, or they were until the herd of deer started eating them.
