this is a rough surface tile, 3x3" or so, purchased at a home improvement store. I wipe it with a damp cloth and allow to dry before stamping. See the following pictures.

I love how you gave us step by step directions for these tiles along with the photos! Thank you!!! I am inspired and educated at the same time.
