Once again, my inspiration came from Michelle Zindorf and you can see her beautiful card here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
Several months back Nancy Crone and I took a trip up the road to Salado to shop at Stamp Salado. We were particularly searching for "Texas" type stamps. I found several, one of which was this fence stamp by Stampassions. I got it, coveted it and never used it. But then, Michelle showed me what I could do with it. I brayered Old Olive and Soft Sky on white CS. Stamped the fence with Black Stazon. Lacking a rock stamp, I drew some in using a fine tip Permanent Marker. Then stamped the daisys from SU Basket Full of Fun set. Colored the daisys with a white gel pen and the fence with markers. Drew in additional grass. Since I don't have a tree stamp (yet) like one I needed, I drew one and then colored it with markers as well. Sponged some Old Olive to reflect leafs on the tree and sponged some Buckaroo Blue in the sky area for interest and also Old Olive to darken the ground a bit. Mounted the unit on black, wrapped a ribbon around and punched holes and added two brown brads. Finished by mounting the panel onto Cream CS. Thanks, Michelle, for all your support and inspiration.
