I have been trying to make an invitation for a wedding. I came up with this envelope style invite, the outside (still working on) folds up to look like an envelope. The inside has a spot for the invite, the reply card and envie and a save the date card. I think it turned out pretty good.

It doesn't take that long, my best suggestion is to creat a template using microsoft word. With the template I made you can print 4 invites off one sheet of vellum/ cardstock, then you trim them to fit. Making the outside envelope took time. I think I would skip that because you are getting into extra cost that can really add up depending on the paper you are using. My reply cards and save the date are done off the computer as well. You can make a different template for each one and save them individually. I guess you just need some word processing experience! If I can help at all let me know, there is nothing better than everyones ooooh's and ahhh's.
