Hello friends...Cathy here and it is my week to share a new Ways to Use It Challenge.
Your challenge this week is to use a favorite song or Christmas carol to inspire your card creation. Be sure to include what song you used in your description. I'm sure we'll all be singing along as we browse all of the wonderful Song Inspired cards in the gallery!
Remember to use the keyword WT822 when uploading your project so we can see your creation in the gallery. It helps if you link your project here as well.
A big thank you to Sabrina and Lisa for your delightful song inspired samples!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE
Here's my card, which was inspired by, What The World Needs Now.

Cathy this was a great idea. One of my all time favorite Christmas song, is 'O Holy Night' by the Judds. Or other people that sing this too...

Well, I'm definitely going to try to make a non-Christmas one tomorrow because I love song-inspired challenges and usually have trouble narrowing my choices down. But I think my brain is stuck in carol and Christmas song mode. I only need about two more Christmas cards, though, so maybe I can kick my brain into another gear.

Listening to Christmas music in early December, we had the cable TV Yule Log music on, and I heard John Legend singing "Purple Snowflakes." I thought, "There's an unusual Christmas song, but very pretty." When I saw this challenge several days later, along with several others requiring non-traditional Christmas colors, I thought, "all wrapped together these challenges creates the perfect choice...PURPLE, as my daughter-in-law loves this color. It fit perfectly, as each of my four children were to have their Christmas card in their favorite color!
