Also, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Normally, one would think that this day would be all about green. I'm going to stray a bit, but just a tiny bit...let's use GOLD! Think about that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Gold always makes everything look so elegant. I also think it pairs nicely with green!
A big thank you to Polly, Lisa, and Sabrina for helping me out this week with some lovely gold cards. Remember to use the keyword, WT888, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!

Toni- thanks for the Gold challenge. I went with a lively background for my card, adding a gold striped washi tape border all around, and fussy cutting my main image and sentiment. Finished with a wrapped old gold ribbon treatment. Here's WT888 Bird Mail

Just added to the tool & product forum, but this is along the same vein-
-I'm hoping someone has a suggestion for a gold powder that is shiny. I have older SU powder (probably 5 years), and it's not super shiny--I'd like something that would go well with SU's Symbols of Fortune and Expressions in Ink papers, so almost foil-like. The catalog doesn't offer gold powder separately, and I have several copper and silver powders already. I'm not opposing to ordering on line, but have both Joann's and Michaels within a reasonable driving distance. Thanks in advance for your help.
I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on a few Easter cards that I forgot to post!
I've brought on all the gold in the BG layering, oval scallop layer, and Gold filigree cross. (Read description re: gold on layering and scallop framing...no pic of re-modeled finished card).
