Today is International Bow Day! It is a day "to cherish the glory of bows and how they have evolved over the years" according to many different websites that I visited. The brief articles referenced bow ties, hair bows and bows made out of materials other than ribbon. For today, we will get a bow somewhere on our project!
A big thank you to Lisa, Jayne, Sabrina and Cathy for helping me out this week with some beautiful cards with bows. Remember to use the keyword, WT858, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.

I loved choosing ribbons for my hair when I was little , I can still picture some of them. Thanks for a fun challenge, Toni. When it comes to mailing, a stamped bow is my favourite, but I used up some of my large ribbon supply for these:

I made a couple of cards today, and added bows for this challenge : ) I used to make hairbows for a children's clothing store and then would sell then at craft faires.....I love bows : ) Fun challenge!
Here is another card for International Bow Day.
Bessie the Cow instructed me to keep the bow small and simple….it is embarrassing enough that she has a bunch of farm friends hitching a ride!
Thanks for the inspiration to use a bow! I tend to love bows on my cards but the post office has issues at times delivering them properly, so I hand-deliver :-) This card was delivered to a sweet lady who leads our Mon. eve Bible Study.
I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking. This card is for an SCS friend's January birthday. It features and lovely bow celebrating International Bow Day!
