WT855 - Wish You Were Here: Send A Postcard

Hi Everyone and Happy Thursday. Yes, it is Thursday....whoohoo....which means that it is Ways To Use It Challenge. It's Jayne here.

Today we are going to fill the gallery with postcards or cards with postcard images, so grab your stamps, dies, papers, paints, pens/pencils or whatever you have in your stash to help you create your card/postcard.

Your postcard can include a holiday image or you can let your imagination flow and create a scene of where you would like to be. Maybe you would like to be relaxing at a spa; having coffee with friends; visiting an overseas destination; curled up on the couch with books, or perhaps watching a movie.

Your ideal card or postcard may be a collage or in vintage style, or perhaps you wish to create a mail art postcard that you can swap. Although postcards are usually 4x6, for this challenge any size is ok, including normal card size.

Your postcard/card could also be for inclusion on your scrapbook page or for your art journal. One important item to be included, of course, is a postage stamp. This can be a real one or a faux postage stamp made with paper or fabric, cut with either a die or pinking shears. Just let your imagination and creativity flow!

If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:

1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.

2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.

3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)

4. Click EDIT. Click COPY

5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
