Today we are marking the fact that in 1933 Wiley Post completed the first solo flight in a monoplane engine circumnavigating the world, taking 7 days and 19 hours. He had previously circumnavigated the world in 1931, taking 8 days and 15 hours, but on that earlier flight, he was accompanied by a navigator. The later flight was solo, relying on an autopilot (requiring several repairs along the way) and compass navigation. So, we are celebrating man-powered flight today - that is gliders, planes, rockets, hot air balloons, helicopters. Anything that man flies, so that excludes birds and butterflies, but still leaves you plenty of choice.
Once you've created your card featuring man-powered flight, upload it with the keyword WT854, and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card when there are any site issues.
Due to site issues, I will be linking my card and adding the attachments (thank you to my team mates for their great samples!) in the next post.
If link autoformatting is still broken, you can create a clickable link by typing any text (your card title, or "my card is HERE" in the reply box. Highlight that text, click on the chain in the tools, and then insert the URL of your card. Then click OK.

Great challenge, we were talking about the technology with my grand daughter and she couldn't believe people weren't able to take a plane before, when I showed her pictures she said that's another world...
Sabrina- great challenge, thank you! I combined this with this week's color challenge. For my card creation- I unearthed a vintage style stamp set with an early plane image. Used copper mini brads and copper cord for my embellishments, along with a ribbon die cut border and a stitched ribbon tie. Here's The Sky Is The Limit

Sabrina this was a great challenge! I made one card, and it was such a wonderful card - then at the last minute I ruined it. Ugh! So had to remake it, but I have to say the first one looked a lot better than this one before it was ruined.
