WT836 -Glitter, glitter everywhere - 03/18/21
Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!
I'm happy that it has come around to my turn to hostess another Ways To Use It Challenge. This challenge might be a bit controversial, as it seems you either love glitter or you hate it. Honestly, you can get "glitter, glitter everywhere". There are many options when it comes to glitter. You can use the loose stuff, glitter paper, glitter glue or Stickles. You can use a little or a lot. It's all up to you.
If you think that your glitter is really subtle or you have a hard time capturing it in your photo, be sure to tell us about it in the description. I love to read the descriptions of cards!
A big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina, Jayne and Cathy for helping me out this week with some beautiful projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT836, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

Sure is everywhere - I used gold glitter this morning and it's already transferred to DH. It's a pity I didn't finish the garden one yesterday when we had great sunshine, today is very overcast for photography.

Dang, I should have waited to upload one of my cards from yesterday. I have really fine glitter from Elizabeth Craft, it was everywhere...I even find it in my bed. Guess I don't need a night light.

WT836 I Love Stamps!
Thank you for the great challenge! For my glittery card creation I used a new stamp and colored my stamps with markers. I then added more definition by inking my stamps with black- my mini Misti was a big help so my card didn't slip. Added to my glue tacky card surface gold gilding flakes and glitter shapes. Finished with a red heart doily upper left. Here's I Love Stamps!

Thanks for the challenge, Toni. I'm one of those who shies away from glitter...seems to get everywhere...probably at the recipient's home too! Stickles is a good solution.

I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on my SCS postings.
I used slightly thinned Acrylic Glitter Glue spread with fingers to get a smooth application, on snow shadows; sprinkled lightly with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and tapped off. Fingers were the best applicator...right size and flexible!
Here is my card: It's A Galaxy Night Sky for Christmas!
