Hello friends...Cathy here and it is my week to share a new Ways to Use It Challenge.
You know the old saying, "What goes around, comes around? For our challenge today, we are going to take what is old and make it new. If you still have the first stamp you ever bought, grab that one...or if not, find the oldest stamp you have and use it to make a new creation. Use your oldest stamp in a new way...with a new coloring medium or a new fold or a new technique, etc. The oldest stamp sets I have date back to 1995...Button Bear and Perfect Plaid from Stampin'Up! I used those two sets with new inks and a new coloring medium! Can't wait to see how you take What's Old and Make it New!
Remember to use the keyword WT831 when uploading your project so we can see your creation in the gallery. Then, link your project here in this thread so we can be sure to comment on your fabulous projects!
A big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina and Jayne for their wonderful "What's Old is New" samples!
Here is my art journal page Cathy. Great challenge. Thank you.

Fun trip down memory lane. Your lovely sample has me wanting to dig out my oldest SU set, which is probably Quilts Give Comfort: Julia gifted me a foam-mounted set. Thanks for such a fun challenge, Cathy. I hope it was ok to pair it with something else ;-), it's not really enough for a card on its own.
Thanks Cathy! I love the house mouse stamps- kept my favorites when I downsized this year in anticipation of our snowbird trips to Florida ( and storage expenses for our stuff). I used a half scalloped circle shape for my partial frame, and a spreckled orange wreath right behind my fussy cut mouse, asleep on a marshmallow. Added a curvy sentiment panel, and did a scribbled pencil background for fun. I usually don't skimp on embellishments, so there's my change Here's Orange you glad for naps

This was not the first stamp I bought , but is the first stamp Set I ever bought. I had bought a few single stamps before I bought this set but they are most likely long gone. Quilts Give Comfort

What a fun first challenge for me! I used Stampin up! Mosaic Madness, as that was my very first stamp set. I was always frustrated about lining up the images nicely back then, so to make it new I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help line up the images. Feels like a brand new stamp set for me Mosaic birthday WT831 by zookeeperhj at Splitcoaststampers

Cathy. I think this challenge is marvelous! I love getting out the "old" stuff and re-using. I do so little of that, that I love it when someone prompts me to do it! Here is my card:
I won my very first stamps from a 2011 DTGD Challenge drawing. The stamp I used in my card was inked for the first time yesterday (embarrassed blushing). Thank you for the challenge, Cathy...here is my card: Thank You Lemons by Gem35 at Splitcoaststampers
