Hello friends...Cathy here and it is my week to share a new Ways to Use It Challenge.
I rarely use just one color on a card, but MONOCHROMATIC BACKGROUNDS can be beautiful and dramatic so your challenge this week is to create a monochromatic background for your card. Use stamped, sponged or die cut images in only one color and shades of that color. Another option used by Sabrina for her sample below is to use a paint chip for the background. Choose your favorite color and have fun with it!
Remember to use the keyword WT827 when uploading your project so we can see your creation in the gallery. Since the keywords have not always been working recently to display your creations in the proper gallery, we strongly suggest that you link your project in this thread. That way we will not miss seeing your card and can make comments. Thank you!
A big thank you to Sabrina, Jayne and Lisa for your beautiful monochromatic samples!

Great challenge Cathy- thank you! I was itching to use more than one color I went with this beaver- he's been working on that stick in front of him- adding a simple "chewed" sentiment block. Accented my beaver on the stump with a woodgrain paper. Here's lovestruck beaver

This link takes me to where you can upload a card. Did you upload to your gallery first, using the WT827 keyword? Only then can you add it to a thread.

Not quite. You don't have to have the keyword to add it to the thread ;-), but yes, it does have to be uploaded. The keyword is just what would normally ensure that your card shows up in the gallery.
I'm sure Carrie did have the keyword, because that's how I realised her upload yesterday was a card for this challenge (and left a comment advising her to link here because of the issues). I'll fix the link now....
