It's my turn to hostess another Ways To Use It challenge challenge. This week we will embellish or make something more attractive through the addition of decorative details. Embellishments are so much fun and there are so many ways to embellish your projects...rhinestones, sequins, brads, buttons, ribbon...the choices are endless. I can't wait to see what you will do.
A big thank you to Cathy, Lisa, Sabrina and Jayne for helping me out this week with some gorgeous projects. Remember to use the keyword,WT814, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE
Here's mine. DH totally endorses the sentiment, LOL.
Trying to keep the need for extra postage down these days, which is a pity because I love buttons. I stuck to sequins and brads to pick up on the circles from the bubble-wrap print.

Toni you have given us a great challenge. My sparkles are hard to see, but they are on all the stars in her bow and dress.

For today's embellishment challenge, I raided my stash basket for LOTS of bling! Central panel is a pickup with a Christmas tree in the back, along with a set of snowshoes and my sentiment. Re-purposed a holiday star studded to go cup for my background, accented with sparkly gems. Found some leaping deer and a snowflake which I added. Went with 1 ribbon vertical border with the other 3 sides of my card outlined in washi tapes. Finished with a button/twine combo in the lower right. I love embellishments!! Here's Starry Christmas Greetings

Toni- just had to do another card! This time I used this cool coffee themed stamp- embossing the image onto white cardstock and using markers and a blender pen to color it. For my embelishments I used 2 kinds of washi tape- embossing the vertical silver sides, and lots of beads and gems. Finished with a script style Coffee die cut sentiment. Here's coffee and coffeepots
