Summer in Minnesota is short compared to winter so one has to take full advantage! And that means doing something by or in a lake (we are the Land of 10,000 Lakes after all)....
Today our twin grandsons turn 5. For their gift we're doing a summer camping trip and taking them to the world-renowned dinosaur museum in Drumheller. So, I figure these dinosaur cards fit into this challenge:

for today's summertime challenge, I went with a underwater theme- adding some "sea plants" and a border of "bubbles" done in turquoise watercolor powder. Matched my sentiment to my larger green and black fish. Finshed with a large sun element. Here's Two fish

I pulled out my Gelli plate box and spotted this paper from the past episodes, perfect, in my opinion, for the pond.
We have a lovely zoo, with a large pond where dozens of flamingos live. There are koi swimming in the water, along with other fish, too. I love to sit in this area when we visit. Anything I can be near the water makes me happy in the summer. WT693 Summer Flamingo Pond by AnniePanda - at Splitcoaststampers

Every summer one of our neighbor (and my cardmaking buddy) hosts a fun backyard potluck picnic and huge fireworks event (compliments of her son). It is always so enjoyable! Here is my card all about patriotic summer fun: Sister-in-Law #2 Has a "Freedom" Birthday!
