Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
For almost as long as I have been on SplitcoastStampers I have been hitting that heart button on so many amazing cards. I go through that favorites gallery once in a while for inspiration to create a card. I don't do it nearly as often as I would like.
Today's fun challenge, go through your favorites and create a card inspired by another card. Please give the artist credit by linking their card to your card. I would love to see the card that inspires your card.
I will be traveling for a couple of days and may not get back to see your cards right away but I will check them out and leave love. So please keep creating I look forward to seeing them.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have a fantastic cards this week from the very creative team. Please see Sabrina's, Cathy's and Carla's stunning cards.
I don't have a lot of "favorites"...probably a smaller amount than some gals have on a weekly "favorites" list. I like and admire MANY cards, but just don't save them....if they are truly outstanding, they are captured in my memory. Thanks for the challenge.

Lisa - Thanks so much for making me revisit my favorites file - I always mean to go back to case some of these cards but never seem to do it and there is some awesome inspiriation in there!
What a wonderful challenge Lisa!!!! I hate to admit this, but I just have my favorites sitting there and I hardly return to them. This is such a great idea for a challenge. I hope to play a little later.
I was inspired by kitty747's lovely Poinsettia Wreath card- I went with a vintage style card, using holly swags instead of a wreath, and adding a vintage style sentiment. Kept the vertical border- mine's eyelet style- and swapped out the ribbon(s). Added some sparkle with green evergreen branches. Finished with a washi tape tree horizontal upper border. Here's Jolly Christmas

Here is my card: Happy Day to a Card-making Buddy! I used two layout inspirations...one card by NaomiW from my Favorites and the other from the Featured Stamper, Jennie Maier (CraftyJennie)...see Jennie's here: So Grateful There's You. I borrowed a bit of inspiration from both for my layout.
