I can never seem to get very creative with mulberry but I had a blast using a balloon filled with lentils for the background! Now this is a technique I will be using often Thanks for the challenge!
I just love mulberry paper and I am enjoying all the cards made with it so far. I also included a prima flower. Thank you for looking, hope you like it. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Didn't have any mulberry paper so this challenge was an excellent excuse to run to my local craft store!! heheh
The flower looks a little high. I placed it there because when I decide to use the card I will stamp a sentiment in the lower left corner. I think then it will look more balanced.
Wow - I am soooo NOT a mulberry fan so this was a great challenge for me. I made a very traditional card, but I was limited by my one piece of mulberry. The color was a little odd, but oh well.
I figured since I almost burned my house down trying to color this dryer sheet to make it look like mulberry paper, I should at least use it on something! So, I made a card for my nephew who's graduating in a couple of weeks.
Ok, NOW I know why I'm getting comments on a card I posted a couple of weeks ago! Thanks Julia S for the challenge and the compliment of choosing my card as a sample. I haven't figured out how to link my cards to the forum (I'm at work, and at lunch) but I do have a mother's day card with mulberry and a prima with mulberry in my gallery. I will upload a couple of other one's I made but just haven't gotten around to uploading. AND if I am very very lucky this weekend I will squeeze in time to make more with Mulberry (I have lots!)

OOPS. Wanted to mention, you can simulate mulberry paper with coffee filters too! Saw them make yoyo's on Carol Duvall. You wet the coffee filter, and color (reinkers work well) with a paintbrush and let dry. They dry pretty fast.

Thanks for sharing the tip Becki. Thanks for inspiring us with your card too.
I just thought I'd share this tip if you are having trouble with tearing the mulberry...wet the "line" where you what to tear the mulberry and the fibres pull apart nicely. This works great for curves too.
This is my card for today. Haven't used mulberry in quite a while. I am going to try again to link my card here. Let's hope it works this time. Here is Stippled Mulberry.

All I am able to do is get to my gallery. Not the individual picture. Any suggestions?

This is one from my gallery that I loved with the mulberry. I don't think it would have looked half as nice without it. Hopefully I will find time to do another tonight!
I've been at the hospital all day with hubby and we just got home. I did this yesterday and it was all wrong for the sketch challenge. Guess I did it in anticipation of today's mulberry paper challenge. Here's mine

Dyed some fabric sheets so I would have color, this was a fun challenge and I'm getting more reinkers so I can make some more inexpesive mulberry paper. Hedgie Mulberry Hello
Ooo that sounds like fun! I bought some mulberry paper two years ago and have only used it twice. Great challenge!

This was interesting to do. I didn't have any white mulberry paper like I intended to use so I made do with using a dryer sheet that was suggested.
Thanks for looking
OK Julia, you have moved me back to mulberry and I am just finishing up a project (not a card!) for my round 1 DSS - I'm just a little behind... I'll post it when I finish. I'm just happy to get some time to be creative!!! Thanks!
I am so far behind this week I combined two challenges to help me catch up. The color challenge CC61 and The ways to use it WT60. I had some mulberry paper but decided it would be fun to see if I really could use fabric softener sheet. They work but not as well. Also not good to wet them to tear like mulberry paper. Found that out, after the fact. LOL. Here is my link: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my mulberry paper project. I couldn't post sooner because it was a gift for my DD (Gladd-lyStamping) and I didn't want her to see it here first!
