WT581 - Playing Safe (04/28/16)

Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!

This week is National Playground Safety Week. The challenge this week is to feature a toy on your project. Many folks know that I work in a school. I work in a very small school with one section per grade. Not only do I support Kindergarten, 5th grade, 6th grade and special education students, but I am the one and only recess duty (or playground teacher). Yep, it's just me and my whistle keeping things safe out there. Go ahead and break out some of your favorite toy images for this challenge.

Oh sheesh, solo playground duty! No wonder you want us to remember about playing safely today, Toni. As the aunt of a special-needs kid, I know how very valuable the classroom assistants are, kudos to you.

For today's toy challenge- I used a vintage SU stamp set from 1995- Love you beary much- and added some toy dp from Graphic45. Finished with a double ribbon tie. Here's Love You Beary Much

Loved the Jetsons cartoon (and action figures) from my childhood- included a sponged sky, some washi tape, sparkly blue dp, and a waving boy for my card- The Jetsons

Ways to Use it challenged us to pick a toy and make a card out of it. Great challenge -- although I do not ride a bike; I know a lot of kids that do and adults!
