It's Sabrina here as your hostess this week.
Today's challenge is suitable for those of still making Halloween cards - although of course cats are in season all year round
, and I'm sure there's a home for them in some of HYCCT challenges.
We are marking the fact that the musical Cats started its 18-year Broadway run on Oct 8 1982. One actress performed in it for the whole 18 years!
I've never actually seen Cats but we had Old Possum's Book of Cats in the house when I was a child, and I used to love all the different cats in it; Macavity the mystery cat, Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat (I used to know that one off by heart), and the black and white Jellicle cats.
Here's an Irish cat for you..
This is the first verse of a poem written by a monk in the 9th century. (Bn simply means white).
Pangur Bn
I and Pangur Bn, my cat,
'Tis a like task we are at;
Hunting mice is his delight,
Hunting words I sit all night.
When you've created a card with a cat on it, upload it with the keyword
WT552, and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card .
 Here's a link to our
WT552 Cats gallery
Here's a link to my sample:
WT552 Chocolate Point Siamese
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Thanks to Lisa and Linda for such sweet samples.
