Hello everybody - it's Sabrina here as your hostess this week.
I am really looking forward to seeing what everybody makes for this challenge; we are going to have the most beautiful butterfly garden you can imagine! I actually saw a few real live butterflies out and about a couple of weeks ago when we had a warm spell - but then we had freezing nights and rainy days again, so they all disappeared.
Bring out pretty papers, butterfly stamps and dies, butterfly stickers and fill the gallery with fluttering butterflies.
I think it's impossible that nobody has a butterfly of some description waiting to be used, but here are a couple of links you might like to check out.
Remember to upload your butterfly card with the keyword WT530, and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card .
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Thank you, Lisa, for your lovely spotlight sample.
Sabrina, your challenge could not have been more timely for me! I just made this card yesterday as a "thank you" for a friend who organized an afternoon to see the movie, "Woman in Gold". Thanks. : )
Brilliant Sabrina!! My only problem now is choosing! I have so many stamps and dies that I'll spend half the day deciding which one to use!! LOL!! I love it, thanks...be back later with something!!

Sabrina- great challenge! Perfect for this time of year with the plants all blooming. I took my sponged butterfly card outside by our lilac tree- a beautiful day! Used a mini lion stamp and sentiment, surrounded by large butterflies with small dc embellishments- and a flower or 2! Here's Peachy Butterflies

I had a lot of running around to do this morning, so I got started on my project late. I'm a sucker for 3-D projects, so thanks for those links, Sabrina. Here's my project:

I had fun making this gift card holder for my son Don's graduation on Saturday- wanted something small and useful for him- used TE's Jerome for my images and sentiment (see back) and added some gold and blue washi tape (school colors). Used a butterfly with a chick ribbon in the center for the back embellishment. Here's Don's Gift- front and Don's Gift- back TFL!
