Today's WT challenge is a rerun on an old challenge. I hope you're up for a challenge as some of you may have to get creative with this one....ways to use Wire. If you're desperate...pull out some twist-ties...I DON'T recommend messing with your wiring. ;) Use wire as a handle on a project, a binding, an embellishment to your design...just get creative and have fun with it! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Oh, this is scary. I've never used wire before and I don't even own any. Really don't want to use twist ties. I might have to buy some tonight. I do have a bind it all, but really don't want to make a book. I think I'll want to see what some other ladies come up with in the gallery...maybe I'll be inspired. But its a good challenge for me since I've never done it before. Thanks.
I actually just purchased my first wire last week. It's only a gold spool and I'm out of Staz-On ink remover, so I might be able to hit the craft store before my dreaded shift begins again. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with something. I've never worked with wire before. Great challenge to get me started!
hmmm..I don't have any...and can you believe I have no twist ties...lol..I might have to sit this one out...but I can't wait to see what the other ladies come up with.
Good one, Julia. I never use wire on my cards. But I do love your idea of the wire for a binding. I have NEVER used my bind-it-all, which I got last November. Now, just to find time to play.
Funny challenge, because I was thinking about wire last night. I didn't use it because I couldn't find my wire. I am going to have to look more when I get home from work today.
Oh I love this idea. I have the perfect idea...the only thing is I don't have a camera. My husband is TDY for 6 weeks. He has the camera with him. Oh well I guess I will have to wait till June 25 to upload my card. I am going to play though!
Great challenge, Julia. Will see what I can come up with. Will have to be later on as the girls have a 4-H meeting in an hour. I'll do my thinking during the meeting.
It was fun to pull out something that has been shelved for a really long time. Wire is not something I have used very much--could have saved some money if I had never bought it, but then I would not have been able to play today.

I am not liking this challenge. How do you even glue down wire? I am not a wire person and have never used it, but that's what these challenges are all about. I don't think that I have the materials to do this and you wouldn't believe the ways that I've tried. It's comical. The only unfortunate thing out of this is that I'm out of time and I wasted a lot of paper, etc. I'm bummed. I think that I'll head on over to HL or Mike's to see what they have there for a little retail therapy. I can't wait to see the gallery to see what y'all have come up with!
Sorry for the multiple postings. I just looked at Julia's card and I think I get this now. The wire that I have, if you can call it that, is really, really thin, unstable, and difficult to work with. I think that I need to get something thicker that can hold a shape better, some real glue, and then maybe see what I can come up with. Okay, I'm done talking to myself now!
