After several unsuccessful attempts to get the exact look I was going for, I'm happy with the end result anyway.
Thanks for the challenge!

I am just now uploading a card I finished yesterday and suddenly realized that I have met this challenge for masking! Here is my card:
WT139 and WT137_Forever Yours by ShariW at Splitcoaststampers . I actually used three small pieces of Post-its to mask out all the surrounding words.

Julia, I want to thank you for posting the challenge. I played with it today and had a lot of fun . . . and cannot post a thing because I left my camera at a friend's house far away and until I can find the time to go see her again, there will be no photos taken at this house. :( And the little one has her Halloween party tomorrow too. I think one of those disposable jobs is in order.
Anyway, I had fun stamping today, that's what is important! LOL!

Great challenge! I sincerely hope stencils qualify as masks, as I used them as reverse masks. Here's mine:
Snowflake Ornament WT137 by justwritedesigns at Splitcoaststampers
As far as masking tips, I'm sure y'all know these but here goes.
1. For multiple masks of the same image, stamp once onto post it note, then layer several together with the stamped one on top and cut out. Several masks, only one cut out.
2. Die cuts make great masks and the cut out portions around them make great reverse masks.

Well, I made a card for today's challenge, but I am still having problems uploading cards. So, I'll eventually get it up here. Thanks for a great challenge Julia, I tried masking for the first time and I really like it!
