I had a chance to make a quick 1 layer card. I always struggle with these, but I am happy with this one. I did really want to add some rhinestones, but I didn't. TFL! rosowskimom's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Julia, you have my prayers for you and your family.
Trudee, you are on my list. Tee Hee, just kidding, you made you use a stamp set that I have had for quite some time but just can not seem to use it. I am aware that the new wave is doodle and flourish, I just don't care for it and just like cooking (if I don't like to eat it I usually can not cook it well), I just can not seem to get the hang of how, when, and where to use these.
So help me out here. Tell me how to improve in this wave that has flooded my world.
Well thanks to all of the good tips, advice, and inspiration here from SCS (the greatest bunch of women I have never had the pleasure of personally meeting) I have salvaged this mess of a card into something I can give with pride and pleasure.
Here is the REDONE VERSION.
What'ch think?
Blessing Swirls is my card for this challenge. I liked using this for something other than what it was originally intended.

Thanks for filling in, Trudee! We all must have flourishes on the brain -- I know I do! I posted this card the night before this challenge was posted, and it's a perfect fit!
Thank you Trudee for a wonderful challenge and for helping out our friend Julia. Here is my Baroque swirl card made with many thoughts going to Julia, her mom and family. Enjoy, Nancy
I had fun trying to figure out something for this challenge - prayed for Julia and family as I made it too.
I didn't have any of the lovely papers I've seen posted, so I sponged and stamped until I had covered most of the white. cherish by write2it at Splitcoaststampers
