WCW065 {Easy lighthouse Tutorial} August 25th, 2021
Hi, & Welcome to this week's Wednesday WaterColor Challenge.
This week we are taking a look at a tutorial on youtube that is for sketching your own lighthouse scene in a 3X3 format.
and of course its OK to watercolor your stamped images because, That is exactly what I did. I happened to win that old old SU coast to coast set in an auction last spring and it has a bit of a sketchy vibe going on to me and I wanted to use it so I did.
You can find this challenge here:
This week's challenge keyword is WCW065
You can find the gallery for that here.
You can find my sample here.
and hopefully as I do not have mod powers in this thread I can edit this in a few... cross your fingers for me.
Terrific first challenge, Stacy. Congratulations! I did my painting first, then came back in with the pen/ink. I don't have one of those fine line Sharpies, so I didn't want to risk ink bleeding...a little backwards from what the video showed.
Oh I meant to tell you all that, you know Wednesday is (every other Wednesday) I am on the road for the bulk of the day for work so, most of the times with this challenge. I may not see the gallery until later wed night and or Thursdays. so, comments will come in slowly from me. but, I always subscribe to things I host so, I will see them eventually.
I finally got my lighthouse done. It does look like a storm hit it. I do collect lighthouses and have 2 lighthouses that are tea pots from other states.
